‘Earthquake’

Rimu wood, rusted steel, and a delicate piece of brick

Dimensions: 21 by 12 by 30 cm

The rimu beam was recovered from the Christchurch railway station in New Zealand which was demolished after the earthquake in 2011.  It was given to me when I visited in 2015.   I recovered the other pieces from around the site of the collapsed Christchurch Cathedral.
